On Monday, November 18th between 2 and 5 PM – Volunteers can help Prep the Book Fair space. This involves helping to get all the books out and displayed on tables in the gym.
On Monday between 5 PM and 8 PM and on Tuesday between noon and 4 PM – Volunteers can assist students and their parents as they go through the selection of books that are available and make the best choices. Volunteers can also help complete the transactions for those purchasing books which includes taking the money, making change, and keeping track of transactions on a hand-written sheet. Computers will be available for credit card transactions.
*** No clearances are needed for this assignment because the students will be “shopping” with their parents.

In Easton at Paxinosa Elementary School volunteers are needed to assist students at a Book Fair during school hours. The Fair runs from Monday, November 18th through Friday, November 22nd. Volunteers help the students browse through the books and make their selections. There are a variety of days and shifts to choose from.Clearances are needed for this assignment because volunteers will be assisting the students. RSVP can assist you to secure the clearance you need to volunteer in school.

Holiday Hope Chests – Joy in a Shoebox
Dates: December 2nd through 11th

Wrap shoeboxes which will be filled with items for different age groups. These Holiday Hope Chests will be distributed to over 5,000+ underprivileged children and youth in the Lehigh Valley.

Volunteers can assist with 2 Walmart Shopping trips. Walmart trips are Friday, November 1st meeting at 1:00 & Wednesday, November 6th meeting at 1:15/1:30 depending on traffic.
The Annual Holiday Bazaar is on Friday, November 8th. Volunteers can help prepare for the bazaar by finishing up some of our craft projects or by coming in and baking the cookie dough made by our residents/staff in the TR kitchen. This will be done Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday anytime between 10:00 and 3:00.
The Annual Holiday Bazaar is Friday, November 8th. Help escort residents (push wheel chairs) any time between 9:30-3:00. Volunteers can also help at the sales tables – any time 9:30-3:00. Volunteer for just a few hours or for the whole day.
